One-pot beef and rice dinner with vegetables and seasonings. Comfort food that's easy and satisfying.

Brown ground beef in large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic, cook 5 minutes.
Stir in rice, beef broth, tomatoes, and Worcestershire sauce.
Bring to boil, then reduce heat and cover.
Simmer 18-20 minutes until rice is tender.
Let stand 5 minutes, fluff with fork, top with cheese if desired.
Don't lift the lid while rice is cooking - this releases steam needed for cooking.
Add frozen corn, peas, or other vegetables for extra nutrition.
Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to 3 days. Add a splash of broth when reheating.
