Delicious coconut rice

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Jasmine ricerinsed
  • 1 can (14 oz) Coconut milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Toasted coconut flakesfor garnish

Instructions

    Rinse rice until water runs clear.

    Combine coconut milk, water, sugar, and salt in a saucepan.

    Bring to a boil, then add rice.

    Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 18 minutes.

    Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
