Delicious Mushroom Swiss Burger - homemade recipe

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Ground beef80/20 blend
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 8 oz Button mushroomssliced
  • 1 medium Onionsliced
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp White wineoptional
  • 6 Hamburger bunsbrioche
  • 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions

    Sauté mushrooms and onions in butter until golden, about 8 minutes.

    Add wine if using and cook until evaporated.

    Form beef into 6 patties and season with salt and pepper.

    Grill or cook patties 4-5 minutes per side.

    Top with Swiss cheese in last minute of cooking.

    Mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard for sauce.
