Tender slow cooker beef stew with vegetables

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Beef stew meatcut into chunks
  • 1.5 lbs Baby potatoeshalved
  • 1 lb Carrotscut into chunks
  • 3 stalks Celerychopped
  • 1 large Oniondiced
  • 4 cloves Garlicminced
  • 3 cups Beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup Red wineoptional
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons Water

Instructions

    Add beef, potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion to slow cooker.

    Mix broth, tomato paste, wine, and seasonings.

    Pour liquid mixture over ingredients in slow cooker.

    Cook on low 7-8 hours or high 3-4 hours.

    Mix cornstarch and water, stir into stew.

    Cook 15 minutes more until thickened.
